Features like Campus Vibe reflect lifestyles of university
students from recordings of the students themselves.

enables a listener to rest after a strenuous day. It offers
pieces of advice to the afflicted in spirit and the majority
of listeners range within primary target and lower secondary.

NEWS DEPARTMENT:
Under programming, there have been a few changes in the news
Department with new readers, more access to international
stories and training from Phil Athyal, which resulted in news
every hour.
AUDIENCE RELATIONS DEPARTMENT:
This is a new department that was formed in December 2003.
It is majorly in charge of finding out the lifestyle trends
of the listeners and making them aware of the station and
its positive image. This department looks for ways of promoting
the station through involvement with the target audience.
PRODUCTION/ TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT:
Early in the year, 104.1 Power FM received a new 2W transmitter,
which covers a wider scope Kampala, Entebbe, Wakiso and areas
of Masaka, Jinja and areas of Iganga.
In the on air studio, the presenters are treated to a new
sound mixer, new sets of headphones and amplifying system
which produce better output of sound.
There are also fresher sounding promos and jingles which act
as great fillers in the programmes.
